About · technical generalist

A generalist who turns ideas into artifacts.

I work across product, technology, systems, and hands-on making — and I've never fit cleanly into one of them.

Background

My path isn’t a straight line. It runs through mechanical engineering, graphic design and UX, game development, programming, product management, and technical product leadership — and, more recently, back toward the workshop: motorcycles, CAD, electronics, AI tools, and 3D printing.

Seen as a résumé, that looks scattered. Seen as a practice, it isn’t. What drives it is a need to know how things actually work, and a habit of asking “what if” until that curiosity has somewhere real to go.

The pattern

The consistent thread isn’t an industry — it’s a way of working. Understanding complex systems. Making decisions under uncertainty. Turning vague ideas into concrete artifacts. Moving between abstract strategy and hands-on implementation, and documenting the learning the whole way through.

It’s the same loop whether the output is a product decision or a welded steel cart: explore the ambiguity, build something real, write down what changed. This site is where that work, thinking, and the person behind it become visible.

Values
01

Mutual respect

Listen to others and treat them as you want to be treated. Respect is the floor, not a reward.

02

Curiosity and growth

Always expand the horizon. Lifelong learning isn't a motto — it's how you stay genuinely useful.

03

Lean and iterative

Work in small cycles. Ship something real, learn from it, and improve. Momentum beats planning.

04

Wide before deep

Knowing many domains is a capability, not a compromise. Cross-domain breadth is where new thinking comes from.
